Cafe Joe in Montreal

Prices were fair. The restaurant was busy but service was fast and friendly. Coffee was REALLY good. Has a very natural and welcoming vibe. Great place to bring kids. They even have a kids area. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals. 2 covered picnic tables outside are perfect for sunny or rainy days. They had a live band when we were there. Larger inside than you'd expect from the front.All 4 of us enjoyed our meals.

Amazing breakfast place! Staff is kind, portions are huge and it tastes delicious! Always starts a good day when you go there for breakfast. Recommended! 👍👍👍

Food and atmosphere of this place were lovely! Staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the french toast was out of this world!! Portions are pretty large but not a problem if you want to just have something small like toast and jam - was the perfect first meal for us to have in Montreal!

Great little place popular with the locals. Think Cheers...but for brunch...where everyone knows your name. Sunday Brunch is a little of a time commitment. Between the wait for a table (30 min) and wait for the food (about an hour)...it allows you to develop conversations over refills of coffee. Generous portions. I had the breakfast Poutine. Not the best I’ve had but very good. The other selections from our table looked amazing. Loved the live music as we waited and big bonus for giving us coffee while we waited for our table. We of course came at the height of rush hour, so that’s on us. Now...belly full of comfort food...I leave happy...and full of caffeine.

One of my favourite breakfast spots in Montreal. The space is cozy and unassuming, the servers are always warm and friendly, and the food is delicious. Comfort food with creative twists. Great vegetarian choices as well. Oh and the coffee - the best bottomless breakfast coffee you’ll find. Love this place.

The food takes a while but it's fresh a d delicious. I had the French toast croissant. Rich, fluffy and custard but not too intense. Comes with the right amount of fruit and potatoes. Decent price. Small but cozy. Would go back.

This place is great! It's your old school diner! Good is out of this world! We a party of 7 but they accommodated us no problem! Everyone enjoyed the ambiance and all the food! Great job Cafe Joe!

Great cozy and hidden gem in the neighborhood serving up tasty and affordable eats. Generous portions and friendly environment make it a great stop for breakfast and lunch. Theresa a kids corner with some toys if you have little ones with you and need to free up your hands while you eat. The bacon cheeseburger is a favorite and well executed staple

This is one of my new favourite places to eat. First of all the food is GREAT the flavour is there. They have REAL vegan vegetarian options for my picky friend and are OK to customize the menu. So if you are coming here as a group everyone can feel included and happy. You are greeted with a smile and they make you feel welcome. Their atmosphere is warm relaxed and friendly compared to other places. I highly reccomend this place.💕💕

Great service, good Huge club sandwich (appreciated knowing that the chicken in my club was free run, grain fed chicken!) and fully enjoyed the Mocha coffee! Couldn't finish my salad, the take home container a biodegradable cardboard... again, a much appreciated detail!

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. Service was good, food arrived quick and tasted great ! The overall ambiance is cozy and welcoming. I would only recommend that the coffee be served hot and fresh at all times :)

Cheap. Delicious. Iconic.Café Joe has vegan options (tofu scramble, vegan version of their burrito and veggie pate sandwich) and make an effort to make sure they can adapt their food to you. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious! The coffee is abundant and hot! The service is extremely friendly and you get a lot of food at a very affordable price. Smoothies are also delicious. I highly recommend coming here! It’s such a wonderful and welcoming place.

Great local spit with affordable eats. Good for breakfast or lunch. Good spot to work as well if not busy (ie weekends). Kid friendly too.

I really liked the vegan scrambled tofu dish for breakfast! Try it with pumpernickel bread! Great place if you’re looking for a laid back vibe close to home in St-Henri. Nice to see there’s a couple more vegan options to try. I had read some bad reviews before coming, so I’m pleasantly surprised. It might become my new weekly brunch spot!
